Ben and Jessica could not have asked for a better spring day for their wedding. Ben and Jessica got ready at Ben's parents’ house, and after seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day, both Ben and Jessica were able to enjoy each other as a couple and spend a few minutes alone. After the first look, the wedding party headed over to the Mariners Museum for the ceremony. Located on a wooden dock over Lake Maury, Ben and Jessica’s family were all able to enjoy the small intimate ceremony. Ben and Jessica then headed down to the shores of the James River and enjoyed a beautiful sunset.
The next day, friends and family gathered once again at Ben’s parents’ house for a fun, BBQ cook out reception, which had lots of great games for the guests to enjoy as well as a great dinner of pork barbeque and a low country boil with crawfish, corn, and potatoes. Jessica surprised Ben with a bagpipe player, and there was a live band that provided the guests with great music. It was a wonderful weekend, and we wish Ben and Jessica a lifetime of happiness.
